SUMMARY. The influence of the nature of polystyrene modifier on compatibility para-
meter of polymers in plasticized polyvinyl chloride materials is established. The increased com-
patibility with polyvinyl chloride polystyrene suspension compared with the impact-resistant
one is confirmed by SEM. The influence of the nature and content of polystyrene polymer
modifier and fine-silicate composites on physicomechanical and thermal properties of modified
PVC plastic is found. It is found that the addition of polystyrene modifier allows us to adjust the
physicomechanical properties, especially the elasticity, and the addition of fine metal-dispersed
polymer-silicate filler increases the thermal stability of polyvinyl chloride plasticizers.
